Since its approval in 2001 the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) has increasingly shown utility in various application areas including vocational rehabilitation and disability evaluation. Geared to the ICF, the book entitled Handbook of Vocational Rehabilitation and Disability Evaluation: Application and Implementation of the ICF outlines current science-based methods in assessing impairment and capabilities and emerging approaches to management specifically relating to work participation.
